Q. How do I find a mentor?

We are a MFAA Certifed Mentor™ and all Certifed Mentors can be found on the www.mfaa.com.au website

Q. What documentation will I need when applying?

  • An original certified copy of your National Police Check (name and date of birth ONLY). To download an application form, go to www.afp.gov.au.
  • An original certified copy of your Credit Check, no more than 3 months old. To order a copy of your Credit File from Veda Advantage, go to www.mycreditfile.com.au
  • An original certified copy of your Driver's License (or other photo ID)
  • A copy of your Certificate IV in Financial Services or Diploma of Financial Services (Finance / Mortgage Broking Management)
  • A copy of the MFAA Initial Compliance Pack showing successful completion.

Q. What education/qualifications do I need to apply?

You need to have completed your Certificate IV in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking) FNS40804.

Q. How do I pay?

The initial deposit is paid upon your acceptance into the course.

The remainder is over 24 monthly payments by Direct Debit agreement with your bank.

Q. How many questions can I ask?

How many do you have? Your fee covers you to ask as many questions as you like.

Q. Do you represent us in disputes?

This is not our role; we are a broker assist and will direct you to a resolution scheme or to your aggregator We do not give legal advice.

Q. What if what you tell us is incorrect?

Hopefully this will never happen; our service is general in nature and will be based on the information being as correct at that time – ultimately you will be responsible to translate that information to your clients.

Q. What if I want to change my mentor? Do you have other mentors available?

Yes we have mentors trained across Australia. You can access their details on the MFAA website. www.mfaa.com.au

Q. I would like to become a mentor - is that possible?

Yes we would love to have a conversation with you. please make contact with us.

Q. Does the course have ongoing support once I finish?

Definately, all Mentee's receive 12 months of email support after completion of the programme at no additional cost and may also attend monthly speaker days
